Plastic Soup is hitting the clubs! We’ve got together a few dates where we’re increasing our awareness by going to clubs and bringing our party sound with our djs, plus giving some love to nights which we’ve admired for a while.

The first of these parties is in Lincoln, where we’re launching the Lincoln arm of the site with a special shindig in Audiojak at the Cell. Lee Burridge is their main guest, but our editor Jimmy Coultas is headlining the other room, alongside our new Lincoln correspondent Strike Out Soundsyetm. We’ve also got three dates in Liverpool lined up, the first a very special collaboration with the Lake of Stars Festival. We heart everything that the LOS is about, and their rowdy ‘pound in’ parties at Bumper are always sizzling soirées of the highest order. Ralph Lawson is headlining our collaborative effort, and the Plastic Soup tag team extraordinaire General Jimmy and Paul Outlar are supporting him alongside LOS fav russel.

The day after we’re jaunting over to the Lemon Lounge to support Freeze, who have got Soup scribe and Chibuku resident Leo Belchetz headlining alongside Emmma and their own residents Rob Casson and Andy Currie. We’ve been gushing in our praise for the boys with their awesome collaborations with Aztec and Vibrant which brought Claude von Stroke and Paulo Mojo to the intimate Lemon Lounge in the past, and we can’t wait to bring a bit of soup magic to their party.

And finally, the Soup is hitching up for Superfly’s spectacular end of term party, where Brendan long is headlining. Observers of the Soup’s history will know of our fond and lengthy connections with the one of Liverpool’s most consistent raves, and the date guarantees to be a heaving party on account of the ending term for the students of the city. We’ll be making noise at the front like only we know how…
